The Wide Skies event happened July 31st, and I’ve been meaning to post the pictures since. Eric Dyck and I were the featured chalk artists. They also had musicians and a craft faire around the corner. We prepped the sidewalk in the morning and started chalking about noon. I was pretty lucky, my patch was between two trees, so I had cool shade for most of the day. All around us we had prepped spots for the public to draw their own chalk art. We ran out of room very quickly and had to keep expanding the prepped area. There are some fantastic young artists that joined in.

I took the pictures at about 7:30. We wound down and packed up around 8:00. There were some grey clouds blowing in, and we felt a drop or two.

Eric went back a couple hours later and it was all gone.
