Didsbury Chalk Art 2018

This past weekend I was up in Didsbury making more chalk art. I initially planned on doing something dinosaur related, but then I thought of a pun… I could not resist. There were a few chuckles and a few groans. This was a 10×10 foot piece. The speech bubbles and lettering took much longer than I had imagined, but I still managed to finish it. This was a two day event for me. I would lay down some colour, and then smudge/press it into the asphalt using bits of an old leather glove. (saved my fingers) The wind slowed us down a bit because it kept blowing the chalk dust away before we could smudge it.
