This is a gift for my neighbours daughter. Still waiting for the local small-town printer to tell me it is ready. Posting early because I am certain they wont see it online…

Greta Vigil Book 2
I just finished the fourth book. I am leaving a bit of time between finishing a book and posting it. Here is number 2. The first book used a lot of light pastel colours. Greta wanted this book to contrast by using lots of bright colours. (well suited to a book about fruit and candy!)
Hands down my favorite character is the pineapple.
Greta Vigil Book 1
I have been quiet about this for a while now. I am currently illustrating for Greta Vigil, an author currently writing a series of books for children. These are my four favorite pages from the first book. That is all I can say for now. When I am able to link you to a website I will update and let you know.
Christmas Clipart Pack 2015
Dino Stack Finished
Unicorn
Dive Bomb
Seriously, if I could fly I would be playing around in the sky non-stop. I don’t think it would ever get boring.
I am very happy with how this picture turned out. I probably shouldn’t have spent as much time drawing tonight as I did, but once I had the initial sketch I couldn’t resist finishing it. There are more layers than I normally use.
Custom Clipart
Ever been looking for clipart, but nothing you see is exactly what you need? I’ve started a fiverr gig that lets you order 5 images for $5. Go check it out! The images do need to be fairly simple to draw, nothing too complex. The reason I am willing to do 5 images for $5 is because I keep the rights to the images, and I will use them to build up a clipart library that I will sell elsewhere.
Mocsie Juggle
I recently finished a commission for MOCSIE. They needed an image for their presentations. Initially they wanted the style to match their David logo. After some discussion and brainstorming they decided they wanted something with more symbolism to it. The woman doing the juggling is based on the style and looks of bell hooks. Each thing she is juggling has different significance to various tasks that need to be ‘kept up’.
I sketched and inked the image in Painter12. Then I moved over to Photoshop and converted the pixels to vector shapes. This allows the image to be scaled up to any size without looking pixelated. As always, the image seen here is a much lower resolution version.
Ladybug Parade
This is the second picture of the pair. I posted the first one yesterday. These pictures were of the clients children. I’m guessing from the timing of the commission that they were dressed up as a bear and pixie for Halloween.
